Mission Statement

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc…) and care that they deserve.

Dog of the Week:  Wesley

Wesley wasn't even 3 months old when we rescued him from a kill shelter.  In his short life, someone or something had put fear into it.  He was terrified, the reason he was not adoptable.  It took about a week before he learned to trust us.  He learned to play with all the other dogs and that it was ok to sleep in peace in his mom's bed.  He is a fun loving little boy.

His breed, unknown.  The shelter believes Lab mix and the vet said there might be some pit in there.  Another vet said Lab terrier mix.  Who knows.  We know that he is a little boy needing a family that knows he has a past.....and that a awesome future is deserved.

His DOB is approx 5/15/20 and he might be around 35-45 lbs fully grown, no guarantee on this though.  His adoption fee is $400 and includes all of his puppy vetting.  Please complete your application today and meet Wesley.
